• Stamping –
  The stamping process results in consistent washers, which are highly repeatable during production.  In most cases, it is the most common type of fabrication used for copper washers, especially when a large quantity is produced. 
• Cutting washers with waterjets – Waterjet cutting is another method for cutting washers out of materials that cannot be laser cuts, such as copper, brass, and laminated materials, which are unsuitable for laser cutting. Material size and thickness determine tolerances. In addition to being CNC-controlled, our waterjet cutting equipment can cut materials up to 6″ thick.
• Wire EDM cutting – Used for hard metals and washers that require tight tolerances, wire EDM is excellent for cutting and shaping.

In terms of thickness, these washers are available in a wide range of thicknesses ranging from very thin washers measuring less than 0.01 inches to very thick washers measuring more than 1/8 inch.
