It is a low-carbon version of 304 Stainless Steel Strip that offers good weldability, formability, and corrosion resistance. Hot-rolled 304L stainless steel strips are quenched in water after hot-rolled billets and slabs. As required, the strips are passed through the mill several times to attain the required thickness. We obtained Cold Rolled Stainless Steel annealed, annealed, and quenched on polished rolls.
The stainless steel alloy is made from iron and chromium at a minimum of 10.5%. Chromium forms a thin oxide layer on the steel surface. This layer prevents further corrosion of the steel surface. Increasing the amount of Chromium increases corrosion resistance.
